Entering the Acquilus complex is like arriving into your own private hotel. Unload your bags into the elevator under the porte-cochere and in minutes you are at your door. Upon entering, you immediately see the ocean in the distance through the living area.
Down a short hallway the first guest room is on your right where there are two single beds, a TV and DVD player. The guest room also has a full bathroom with shower and tub. The second guest bedroom is across the hall and is complete with a queen size bed with TV, DVD player and full bathroom with shower and bathtub.
Out of the second guestroom and on your right is a full luxurious kitchen. The top of the line appliances including high efficiency microwave, dishwasher and laundry equipment make this an easy area to maintain. The high end appliances, granite countertops and bar that comfortably seats 3 makes this a great area for entertaining while taking in the view.
Just past the kitchen is the dining area where a large table for 4 is positioned to accommodate an ocean front dinner. Through the dinning are and into the living area you will find two couches positioned so one focuses on the TV and DVD player and one is focused on the endless view of the Atlantic.
The Unit has wireless internet so from this couch one can watch a movie, read a book, do some work on the web or simply contemplate a sunrise. The master bedroom is a few steps from the living room and has a king size bed with a panoramic view over the ocean. The master bathroom is an elegant and relaxing area with a private commode, double vanity, whirlpool tub and a walk in shower. From the master bedroom you can access, through sliding glass doors, your ocean front balcony. This 400 sq/ft space which can also be accessed from the living area is the perfect spot for a starlight cocktail or sunrise coffee.
A table for four is a perfect setting to relax and enjoy the view while the reclining chair is there for reading a book or working on your tan. Whatever the use for the space it is truly a home where memories will be created that will last forever.
Jacksonville Beach is a beach rich with history and full of activities for visitors of all ages. From the Acquilus building one can walk to shopping dining and various forms of entertainment. There are numerous playgrounds within a short drive and further out some of the best state parks in all of Florida.
St Augustine is a short drive from Jacksonville Beach where there is a multitude of dining and shopping options along with all the tourists attractions St Augustine is famous for.
Closer to the building you will find a mix of fine dining restaurants, Mexican, Chicago pizza places, several seafood spots and some really good places for drinks.
There is a vibrant social scene in the heart of Jacksonville Beach with concerts in several of the local clubs and presentations and festivals on the city lawn several times a year. Ask what’s going on when you book and there is bound to be something. Whether it’s the blue angels at our annual Sea and Sky Spectacular or watching Jaws at the amphitheater Jacksonville Beach is a happening place.
No matter what you do with your recreation time away from your rental home what really matters is the quality of accommodation when your “home”. This unit is a well kept and well appointed direct ocean front condo with all the amenities you would need to truly be at ease.
