Entering Acquilus II is a welcome home you can’t forget. A secure gate leads to a porte-cochere for unloading into the elevator which will lead you to your home. Once inside, you will immediately see the ocean through the living area.

Down the hallway and to your right is a bedroom with a queen sized bed. This guestroom also has its own full bathroom with shower and bathtub. Down the hallway a short distance across the hall is the second guest room with two single beds and a private bathroom. The guest bathroom has a full bathtub and shower.

Leaving the second bedroom into the hall and you will be in the magnificent kitchen. Granite counter tops and high end high efficiency appliances make this a kitchen that is both fun and easy to use. The kitchen bar seats three comfortably and is a great area for entertaining or taking in the view. The dining area is just past the kitchen and has a large wooden table that comfortably seats 8.

Beyond the dining area is the living are with two reclining couches, one facing the ocean and one facing the large flat screen TV. The TV has a DVD player and there is also wireless internet in the home. This living space is great for watching movies doing some work on the web or contemplating a sun rise.

Walking away from the living area into the master bedroom is your queen sized bed with a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean. The master bathroom is an elegant and relaxing area with a private commode, double vanity, whirlpool tub and a walk in shower. Through the sliding glass doors of the master bedroom is your ocean front balcony. This 400 sq/ft area has a table for four and two reclining chairs. The table is a perfect spot for a starlight cocktail, ocean front dinner or having a sunrise coffee. The reclining chairs are there for you to relax comfortably while reading a book or working on your sun tan. Whatever the use for the space it is truly a home where memories will be created that will last forever.

Jacksonville Beach is a beach rich with history and full of activities for visitors of all ages. From the Acquilus building one can walk to shopping dining and various forms of entertainment. There are numerous playgrounds within a short drive and further out some of the best state parks in all of Florida. St Augustine is a short drive from Jacksonville Beach where there is a multitude of dining and shopping options along with all the tourists attractions St Augustine is famous for. Closer to the building you will find a mix of fine dining restaurants, Mexican, Chicago pizza places, several seafood spots and some really good places for drinks.

There is a vibrant social scene in the heart of Jacksonville Beach with concerts in several of the local clubs and presentations and festivals on the city lawn several times a year. Ask what’s going on when you book and there is bound to be something. Whether it’s the blue angels at our annual Sea and Sky Spectacular or watching Jaws at the amphitheater Jacksonville Beach is a happening place.

No matter what you do with your recreation time away from your rental home what really matters is the quality of accommodation when your “home”. This unit is a well kept and well appointed direct ocean front condo with all the amenities you would need to truly be at ease.
