Ive rented the Mermaid twice now, once for the GA/FL game and once for the Donna. This place is our little home away from home and we will definitely stay here every time we visit.

Dinning Chairs for six, plus 3 bar stools. Kitchen has top of the line appliances, Frig offers chilled water, crush ice and cubed ice, Bosch washer and dryer. Spotlessly clean. Beach is beautiful! Friendly people at the Condo, at the real estate office and the surrounding community. Everyone had a wonderful time. Great place to stay.
Our family of 4 kids, ages 6 thru 20, couldn't have been happier staying here. My queen (sweet wife, overworked mother/businesswoman), was in heaven. The Unit was gorgeous, original local artwork, expansive views, perfect location. The guys went fishing, mahi-mahi, amberjack and tuna,(several hundred pounds), shopping at beachside shops and St. Augustine just down the road, and local seafood markets for huge shrimp. Back to the condo, very spacious, beach themed, subtle yet upscale, top notch designer appliances (convection oven), huge master suite with bathroom to match. When we arrived in after a lengthy road trip we were literally stunned by the layout and furnishings of this condo. It is like staying in a model home on display. You will enjoy your sty.

I've vacationed on Jax Beach for years and have tried many different rentals, but "The Mermaid" in Acquilus II has been the best vacation spot I've found so far. I've stayed three times already (one month each time) and have found little, if anything, to complain about. On the off-chance that some small glitch might occur during my stays, either the Lance Castles rental manager or the on-site condo manager took care of my concerns immediately. I never wanted for anything! The unit is immaculate, comfortable, and fully equipped. I stayed alone, without a car, but had no problem making my way on foot to the boardwalk or to the local Publix grocery store. The location is great, the neighborhood peaceful, and the view spectacular (although, to be truthful, there's no bad view on Jax Beach if you are oceanfront). Nevertheless, this is one of my favorite vacation destinations!
I am not sure what the Mermaid is but we loved our stay at AquilliusII. It was very relaxing and the condo was beautiful.
Phenomenal management compsmy! They did exactly what they said, and their service was excellent. Great location and loved everything about the condo.....almost. The carpet was very dirty in the main living area. It needs to be cleaned or replaced. The rest of the propert was clean, well maintained, and a great floor plan.
I would highly recommend dealing with Lancelots Castles. We have used them for a few years and have not been disappointed.
We loved the location of the condo, but we had a couple of issues w/tv and stove. Aggie was on the spot w/help to fix both issues. We truly enjoyed the condo, and Aggie was great. We felt the building was a little security tight and complicated upon arrival. Once we learned the layout and reviewed the rules, we did better. We had a group of 6 "older" women, and we tend to confuse easily, so it was probably just us! We had a great time and would consider returning.
The only down side was that the pool was very small and some of the residents were not very friendly. We had a great vacation in Jacksonville Beach. We had heard negative things about crime in the city but everything was lovely. Even the grocery clerks seemed happpy to have us there. Thanks for a great family trip! Enjoyed sitting on patio overlooking ocean with breakfast and coffee, reading the paper every morning. Morning and evening walks on the beach and being able to prepare whatever meal we chose in the lovely kitchen. The three bedrooms, three baths gave everyone privacy. Watching the moon over the ocean at night.
